i went to town at bed bath & beyond again tonite. i swear, i
cannot trust myself in that place. 3 hours + 2 much greed = - 3 bills. now i'm just waiting
for them to deliver all the goodies, sometime btwn 11pm-2am. i love same day
delivery. genius!
i've developed this addiction to airborne recently. i got some during
my last excursion to bb&b and now i'm hooked. they have a nightime
version too, with additional sleep aids. genius!
now time to purge all the pix from my camera phone. these are so old i cant remember any of them.

i h8 work and i h8 being sick. too bad for me, i'm busy with both right now. UGH!
for some reason i always get sick on the wknds too, which is really
annoying. perhaps i should stop going out during the week? not that i
do much of that either. but i think going out thursday put me out of
commission for the whole wknd. not that i would take it back, b/c it
was a fukn barrel full of laughs...but the after effects--> i
went to bed friday and woke up sunday. and i've bin doing that practically every wknd for the past couple of months.

it happens every year on thanksgiving- the beginning of the end. for
it's when gus (aka my belly) is unleashed and starts his eating
marathon that lasts all thru the holidays until springtime. he gobbles
up everything in his path and once he gets going there's no stopping.
it's best to just move out the way.
this year's festivities were awesome and gus got off to a great start.
we had a blast at hotel orchard and the feast lasted for 2 whole days
(the only time i came home was to shower!). i guess it was fitting,
since we had 2 of everything - 2 types of meats, potatoes, cornbread,
pies, fruit, and a slew of other delicious dishes. the best part
was, everything was homemade! come to think of it, we even played 2
types of games. my voice is finally almost back to normal but still
raspy. my co-worky said i sounded like a man. oh so sexy..it's so
weird. ever since i quit smoking i've gotten sick, lost my voice,
and my chest has been hurting. wth?? hopefully it's just my body
readjusting to all the cleaner air i'm breathing...? i hope this
combo of holiday grubbing + no smoking doesn't spell disaster for my
waistline. i am already starting to feel the expansion....and the
onslaught of xmas dinners and parties hasn't even started yet. oh
well... i've never bin one to deny myself the pleasures of partying
and/or food and i'm not gonna start now.
this was definitely the most fun i've ever had on thanksgiving. i still
really missed my family tho and now i can't wait to go home for xmas.
but i'm glad to say that thanksgiving still reigns supreme as my
favorite holiday. and no, it's not just because of the food. it's the
love (yes, i said love) and feeling blessed and thankful for what i
have.
now excuse me while i curse myself and finish my stupid work. goodnite y'all.

i caught the funniest convo on the street last nite btwn a dude and a chick. they were walking behind me so i heard everything.
woman: sooo...alot of the ppl last nite were referring to me as your girlfried...should i be concerned?
man: (pause) uh..

(stutters)...um.....(pause)....i...i..i dunno....i. (pause)...guess i was....sorta...um..wish.....(silence)

i was torn btwn going "awwww" and "HA, SUCKA!!" at the same time.
sadly, my expectations were met with more uncomfortable silence so i
stopped ear hustling. i pictured two white adults- one a 30 something
professional male and the other a lil younger, somewhat stylish
girl. much to my surprise they turned out to be two young 20
somethings, all decked out punker style. complete with tight black
pants, funky hair, and spiky black belts. i found myself feeling
pleasantly surprised that they didnt turn out to be boring average ppl
i expected. i love it when ppl surprise me for the better.
anyhoo, i was on my way to bed bath and beyond when this
happened. that place is like costco. u always walk out with way
more than u anticipated and a couple benjamins less in ur wallet. but
it always feels so good, hehe.
so thanksgiving is only a couple days away, yay!!! hope everyone has a
great holiday wknd, and most importantly, grubs like crazy!

so another thing my frenz and i were discussing b4: what is the minimum
height a guy has to be? i say 5'11''. anything shorter is.......well,
it will take time to get accustomed to...but maybe i'm being very
superficial. so what is ur absolute minimum height? and is that
just being too unrealistic?? i dunno. u tell me.
a guy who can cook OR has a great talent/skill (i.e. draw, sing, instrument, etc)?
(and yes i kno cooking is also a skill u smartass - just choose)
