• i caught the funniest convo on the street last nite btwn a dude and a chick. they were walking behind me so i heard everything.

  woman: sooo...alot of the ppl last nite were referring to me as your girlfried...should i be concerned?
  man: (pause) uh..
          (longer pause)
         
  (stutters)...um.....(pause)....i...i..i dunno....i. (pause)...guess i was....sorta...um..wish.....(silence)
  woman: (silence)

  i was torn btwn going "awwww" and "HA, SUCKA!!" at the same time. 
  sadly, my expectations were met with more uncomfortable silence so i
  stopped ear hustling. i pictured two white adults- one a 30 something
  professional male and the other a lil younger, somewhat stylish
  girl.  much to my surprise they turned out to be two young 20
  somethings, all decked out punker style. complete with tight black
  pants, funky hair, and spiky black belts.  i found myself feeling
  pleasantly surprised that they didnt turn out to be boring average ppl
  i expected.  i love it when ppl surprise me for the better.

  anyhoo, i was on my way to bed bath and beyond when this
  happened.  that place is like costco. u always walk out with way
  more than u anticipated and a couple benjamins less in ur wallet. but
  it always feels so good, hehe.

  so thanksgiving is only a couple days away, yay!!! hope everyone has a
  great holiday wknd, and most importantly, grubs like crazy!
